A little bit about myself

Hi, I’m Nicole Meza! I’m a Product Designer with 10 years of experience turning complex ideas into seamless, intuitive experiences. I love creating user-centered designs that are not only engaging but also accessible and inclusive.

From wireframing to prototyping and expanding design systems, I excel in collaboration and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to refine and elevate digital experiences. My goal is to craft designs that drive business growth while making users’ lives easier.

My career so far

Always up for a challenge, I’ve had the opportunity to work at a range of companies, from scrappy startups to a global enterprise like IBM. Over the years, I’ve designed a variety of products, including e-commerce platforms, a tourism website, a homeowners insurance application, and several highly technical internal tools. Most recently, I stepped into a lead UX design role at IBM, where I oversaw multiple projects within a large, partner-focused system.

My design philosophy

My approach to UX design begins with understanding how people think, what they need, and where friction exists in their experience. I believe great design is invisible. It guides users effortlessly while solving real problems in meaningful ways. Curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning drive my process, and I believe the best ideas come from diverse perspectives and a shared commitment to making people’s lives easier.
